Inhaltsangabe: Philip Weaver and Poopsie Barrett plot to murder Poopsie's husband James while he is on a trip to Toronto. Philip mails her a letter instructing her to write a love letter to her husband and arrange a cocktail party that afternoon for an alibi. Unfortunately Poopsie mails Philip's incriminating letter to her husband by mistake. She goes to te post office to try to stop the letter, but it has already been sent. She comes back to her apartment where a desk clerk informs her that her letter to her husband had been returned earlier due to insufficient postage. Poopsie, however, has nothing to be happy about when the clerk reveals that he attached the required postage and sent the letter off again.
