Inhaltsangabe: Susan Harper (Susan Harrison) wants to be famous more than anything in the world, so she fakes an attack from a mugger and fabricates a story about a masked attacker, which the local newspaper publishes. The story makes her an instant celebrity about town, but then someone's climbing accident takes over the headlines in the papers. So to receive more attention, she takes a friend to the same spot she was supposed to have been attacked and strangles her. The newspapers put her in the limelight again, with the reporters raising suspicion of a killer on the loose, and Susan being the only surviving victim. When the press starts dying down, she returns to the spot to try to come up with something new, and unbeknownst to her...
